The welcome was friendly, the restaurant and bar service impeccable, the meals superb, and the setting quiet enough to chat comfortably at the table.

This hotel boasts one of Libreville’s finest, albeit pricey, restaurants. The rooms were decent, with tea/coffee facilities, and a lovely garden inside the building. The location is acceptable but not ideal: a 5‑7 minute walk to the seaside road, yet the area around the hotel is sparse, and it takes roughly an hour on foot to reach Libreville’s lively center. Even though the prices are steep by European standards, we enjoyed the first dinner and returned, only to be disappointed the second time. The water situation is odd: the hotel can refill your coffee maker, but they must come to your room to do it; they can’t just hand you a bottle, because that would incur an extra charge. For a pricey hotel, this seems unnecessarily stingy.

I had a guest and they demanded an ID card or the guest would leave; I didn't like that. The person was with me. I had already provided all my details.
