“A peaceful and wonderful stay in Italy.”

We had a truly delightful stay at Agriturismo Cjargnei and were very pleased with the experience. Check‑in and check‑out were quick, easy, and completely hassle‑free, and the staff were extremely friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout. We especially appreciated the private, gated parking area, which felt very safe and offered plenty of space—even for our large passenger van, a big plus. The apartment itself was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed, including plenty of plates, cutlery, glasses, and other essentials, so preparing meals was easy. The beds were comfortable, there was ample space, and we particularly enjoyed the lovely balcony where we could relax. The property is situated in a charming little Italian village, and the whole area has a peaceful, authentic atmosphere. My friend and I stayed here for a short getaway, and it was exactly what we wanted—quiet, relaxing, and away from busy tourist spots, while still being a great base for exploring the surroundings. Everything was clean and well maintained; the accommodation felt cozy and welcoming, and the staff’s kindness and hospitality made the experience even better. We genuinely enjoyed our stay and would happily return. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful and comfortable stay in this part of Italy. Overall: a wonderful stay, great value for money, and an easy 10/10 from us. Honestly, it is hard to find anything negative to say about our stay. Everything was clean, comfortable, and very well prepared for our arrival. The apartment had everything we needed, the parking was safe and spacious, and the whole property was peaceful and well maintained. The staff were also extremely kind and welcoming. We had no problems during our stay and there really wasn’t anything that negatively affected our experience. We would happily stay here again.

“Exceptional hospitality and care, relaxing accommodations, and family friendly.”

Exceptional hospitality and care were shown to us during our three‑night stay, and we wish we had stayed at Agriturismo Cjargnei for our entire two‑week visit to Italy; we are so thankful for such an amazing experience. Booking was easy with options for a family suite and apartment; we chose the less expensive family suite and were grateful for the upgrade to an apartment upon check‑in. Our hosts were gracious and accommodating, taking time to talk with us and our children at check‑in, check‑out, and at breakfast, even telling our youngest how her favorite pickles are grown and made. We were in busy, active tourist mode and explored a local festival that Michaela told us about upon arrival, and visited Aquileia and Trieste during our stay. The apartment was comfortable and well equipped, with a kitchen, bathroom, and a private balcony offering beautiful sunrise views of the surrounding fields and birds. We heard a little owl outside our bedroom window at night, otherwise it was very quiet and restful. We didn’t have time to fit in a spa visit and will certainly return. I had forgotten to request breakfast on the day of check‑out since we were late coming back from Trieste, and Michaela offered us breakfast without a reservation request. Breakfast offerings were both sweet and savory, with fresh pots of scrambled eggs offered after we sat down with plates from the buffet. Outstanding cappuccinos, Italian desserts, cornetti, fruit, breads, pastries, and butter. I enjoyed my scrambled eggs, an apple tart, and cappuccino. My partner had two cappuccinos, hard‑boiled eggs, and a croissant. Our youngest started with chocolate torte and a croissant and loved the blood orange juice and her buttery scrambled eggs. Our oldest had three kinds of fruit tarts and a kiwi. Positive reviews all around. We hope to return next year. I will likely host a yoga retreat there next summer. Local panificò, and pizzaria cappuccino were among the best of our trip, and the nearby Despar was fully stocked. Everything was outstanding.

Very kind, directly operated by the host. We received a beautifully furnished, comfortable room. The breakfast was tasty, with a generous selection. The restaurant and shopping options are within walking distance.

“Scelta azzeccata, appartamento pure, bibite sempre fresche e mangi con comodo.”

The AC, bed, and sofa were super comfy, and Michela was so courteous and friendly. Even though the location seemed a bit off‑center, it turned out to be great because the town is easy to reach from many directions if roads get blocked. I only tried breakfast on the last day, but I’ll come back for it next time. The laundry and market are a stone’s throw away. The only downside was the TV sound; I’d bump it up from 22 to 25/30 because on some shows words got lost on the sofa—modern TVs have tiny speakers tucked behind the screen.
