The castle is beautiful, the room is large but spread over two floors with the bathroom on the lower floor, which is inconvenient for the night. The restaurant offers a menu that is quite (perhaps too) rich in flavors and does not allow you to choose simpler or less seasoned dishes, which can be an issue for children. The pool is nice and the garden is stunning. The restaurant menu is too rich and inflexible; the breakfast does not match a 4‑star standard.

The facilities have great potential, but the cottage feels more like a shabby bungalow than a 4‑star hotel; it needs a bathroom renovation, new doors, better lighting, and the size and equipment are minimal. The common areas are also below what a hotel of this price should offer: broken pool access doors, lights outside that flicker all night, an unprepared path to the cottage, and the pool needs an extra touch of cleaning and upkeep. The price doesn’t match what you get, a real pity.
