The hotel is a 15-minute drive from Siegen, a university town accessible via the nearby A45 motorway.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the menu was small but the food was excellent, breakfast was tasty, and the rooms were clean and cozy.

The staff were very nice, the outdoor restaurant was lovely, the breakfast area was functional and clean. I was offered a room change, but I had already cleaned what I needed. The dinner smelled great, and other guests who ate it were very satisfied. Unfortunately the room wasn’t cleaned, though the bed was freshly made. The phone plug at the bed was broken and cables were hanging loose. I left a thick stain on the shower wall (it was already there on arrival and I didn’t clean it) to see if it would be cleaned after my complaint, but it wasn’t. The bread at breakfast were cheap reheat rolls that were not fully warmed. Still, you could eat and drink as much as you wanted.

We didn’t book breakfast, but the dinner was fantastic and the staff gave great advice. It’s a pity we’re not close by, but we’ll visit for meals more often and definitely stay again for the night.
