This was my third stay at this hostel in Udaipur, and just like before, I loved it again; it truly feels like home. I was there with my mother, who was also excited. I started in the dorm but then spent three nights in a private room. We both had spacious rooms with a nice seating area by the windows—an excellent spot to relax. The rooms are clean and comfortable, with a large bathroom and a well‑working shower. Everything is tidy and well maintained. The location is perfect: in a quiet area so you sleep well at night, yet the busier part of Udaipur is just a short walk away. One of my favorite spots is the rooftop terrace. The view over Udaipur is stunning, especially at sunset. In the evenings it’s extra cozy with a fire pit, music, and a great atmosphere. A new coffee café downstairs now serves good coffee and light meals, and there’s a restaurant on the upper floor for a proper meal. The staff are incredibly friendly and always ready to help with questions, tips, or advice on planning, transport, or sights. You really feel welcome here. I’ll definitely return on my next trip to Udaipur.

Everything at Mild Life Hostel was an amazing experience, from the room to the rooftop lake view. The property is well maintained with a heritage look and the food was also good. The owner, Dinesh bhaiya, is very attentive and friendly and always ready to help with every need; we enjoyed our stay at Mild Life Hostel and will definitely come back! The rooftop lake view with movie night and the view of the whole city were unforgettable.

The hotel was okay, but it didn't match what we had expected from the reviews. The room was very nice and spacious, yet the rooftop terrace looked like it had hosted a party and nobody had cleaned it up for weeks. Also, the warmth that we found in other hotels was missing here. We stayed in two different hotels in Udaipur, and this one was fairly well‑located and quieter than the other side of the river, though you can easily walk to the city center. The rooftop terrace was uninviting and the staff lacked friendliness.
