A lovely bamboo‑built inn that felt quiet and very comfortable, with the shower and toilet separated for added hygiene. When a sudden downpour hit, water started dripping from the ceiling‑mounted fan.

The common areas were nice and the rooms were spacious, plus there were lots of cats. Renting a scooter was easy and quick, and the host was very helpful. The location is a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path, but a scooter makes it fine; without one it could be a bit tricky because the road is somewhat bumpy.

BambooNest1 is a remarkable building crafted with care. Unfortunately it has fallen into neglect, feels a bit shabby, and isn’t cleaned often. There’s no staff on site and no tap water—one is told to drink the tap water but we chose not to. Many cats and an unfriendly dog are present, and they defecate everywhere. The beach is far, and it’s hard to reach because the property sits in a military zone. The barking and nightly cat howls kept us from sleeping well, so we won’t return.

This place is a lovely spot, with a great setup and even a bedside table! The cats and kittens are adorable and love to cuddle. It's a great little hideaway.
