The reception was friendly, but there was no braai area and the breakfast left something to be desired.

We stayed in the chalet with a renovated bathroom, a comfortable bed, and a cozy décor, though a minibar would have been nice; it didn’t affect my experience because I only spent one night.

The family rooms in the garden were great, the food was excellent and good value, the fire in the dining room was enjoyable, and the lounge was good for cards and pre‑dinner drinks, and we didn’t have any negatives.
