“Great place; come with your own car or bring snacks”
The place is stunning: sea views, a saltwater pool carved into the rock, and an infinity pool—all gorgeous. Plenty of spots to relax and soak in the scenery. GM Diana and restaurant manager Svetozar, seconded from the Sofia sister property, are top‑class hospitality pros. The venue is beautiful, the people lovely, and I didn’t want to leave—though I’ll aim to return next September with some logistical tweaks. The complex sits in the middle of nowhere, and the restaurant is the only food source. The menu is limited and hugely overpriced, while the drinks list is extensive. The food is mediocre. A sign at the breakfast buffet explains why it’s labeled “good breakfast” instead of “exceptional,” and guests can’t take food to their rooms. With no other options nearby, most people want a snack during the day, but the restaurant offers nothing small or varied. Arrive early for breakfast, because anything gone by 9 a.m. isn’t replaced. The nearest “grocery store” is a 15‑minute walk on an unpaved road and carries only crackers, yogurt, and a bit of laundry detergent. Taking a taxi into town is pricey.
