An unforgettable beautiful place on the Daugava coast! The environment is clean and orderly. The design preserves a seventeenth‑century style. Nothing else to note.

A hotel that’s seen better days, but the staff were very friendly, though communication was a bit tough. The location right on the river is gorgeous. Our room was spotless, with a large bedroom and a separate living area. The shower bathtub isn’t suitable for people with disabilities; water leaked out the bottom and flooded the bathroom while we showered. Breakfast was simple—untoasted bread, scrambled eggs, tomatoes, and cucumbers—yet it was thoughtfully arranged.

An old office building repurposed in an innovative way; the equipment isn’t brand‑new, but that fits the vibe perfectly. Our room was huge and clean, and breakfast was good.

The spot is legendary. The receptionist was very kind, helpful, and friendly. I came for the vibe, hoping it’d feel like the ’80s, but it turned out more like the ’90s in a good way, and I hope they keep it that way instead of modernizing. The room and beds were clean, the shower was hot and modern, and the plants were a highlight. It’s safe and quiet, though some might find the low lighting a bit creepy at night. The downside is that the door closes at midnight and opens again at 6:00 am, so if you want to go out for a party it could be an issue; this wasn’t mentioned in the booking. Double‑check because they have a modern lock with a password that was low on battery when I visited.
