The place is beautifully landscaped with lots of plants, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. I wish I could have stayed longer. The building next to the hotel looks a little run down.

The staff is fantastic and the place feels like home. It’s cozy, relaxing, and quiet, yet very close to Main Street. The shower is excellent. There are several ways to get here, so it’s worth checking traffic and hours before booking a taxi.

The room was clean, but the overall experience was terrible. The location was in a remote jungle area, and the staff was rude from the moment we arrived—no one guided us, and when we called for help ten times, they rushed our luggage and we still needed assistance. They didn’t offer any food facilities, even though we paid 6000 rupees for three days. Smoking wasn’t allowed, and the manager scolded us for a tiny color stain on a bedsheet, charging an extra 500 rupees for cleaning. In the end, no one helped us return our luggage to the car, so we had to do it ourselves. It’s hard to justify the 6000 rupees; staying at a hostel would have been better. They seem to target foreigners and try to deceive them, treating customers like hostel students and acting like wardens.

It’s a family-run place that’s super clean and welcoming. We ran into a few scheduling issues, but they were very supportive and helped us out. They even let us store some luggage for two days at no charge. When problems arose, they did everything they could. The spot is ideal—just 70 meters from the busy market street—quiet, spacious, and with a great view of the Ganges. The only downside was that there was no generator for the ACs, though the fan kept working.
