The room next to mine—apparently a private apartment inside the guesthouse, maybe owned by the hosts—had a man who cleared his throat all night, made vomiting sounds, and kept flushing the toilet. It was disgusting. The room was only moderately clean; the tea and coffee cups were filthy. The owner kept texting (over ten WhatsApp messages before check‑in, during the stay, and on departure day), many voice notes, which isn’t convenient for travelers who might not want to listen or need a written reference.
