The little château is charming, with a nice small garden, a lovely little pool, a beautiful room, and a pleasant little spa (only sauna and hammam). The bed is comfortable, and the bathroom is nice. Breakfast was very good, dinner too, even though there was a wait and they wouldn’t offer an alternative dish. I gave it a 9 because 8 would be too low, but an 8.5 would be more appropriate. The château is pretty but small, and you can hear the highway even from the room, and we paid far too much for what it is (see also my comments on what I liked less). The arrival on site was surprising, in a sharp turn and not far from the center… but most of all very close to the highway, which you can hear from the room, the pool, the terrace… a 5‑star rating from which you can gauge the traffic, which is unusual. I had booked a table at the restaurant in advance and had mentioned that I do not eat or hunt pigeon. When I arrived, the reservation was hard to find. For the meal, the choice was between 4‑, 5‑, or 7‑course menus. We would have liked the 7‑course, but surprise, there is pigeon… I asked for something else, the chef’s reply: impossible. So we ended up taking the 5‑course menu—too bad for us and too bad for their 70 € lost. The next morning: we arrived at breakfast at 9:00. We waited 15 minutes for someone to take our order (no buffet…) and then waited another 20 minutes before receiving anything to drink or eat. Ridiculous, there were only 4 tables in total for everything. In short, we enjoyed it, but the price we paid was excessive.
