Nestled in a classic residential building in Berlin’s Wilmersdorf district, Hotel Margrit offers family‑run charm and immediate access to two U‑Bahn stations and Ku’damm bus routes. Spacious rooms feature high ceilings, cable TV, and free Wi‑Fi. A generous buffet breakfast fuels shoppers strolling the nearby Kurfürstendamm, while A100 access and nearby public parking ensure convenient citywide travel.

The location is good and central; the TV in the room didn’t work (no channels found), the bathroom heater was rattling, the rolls weren’t very fresh, and although the room was clean it could use a renovation.

The breakfast was good, the room was very clean and comfortable, and the staff were friendly and willing to store luggage even after check‑out.

The location is close to the U7, but otherwise there is little directly on site; the furnishings are very outdated, and the breakfast felt rather lackluster.

I was able to request a code so that I could arrive late at night and pick up the key from its safe. It sits nicely between the city centre and the conference at Freie Universität. The old elevator works, but you worry about getting stuck. The room feels a bit worn; for instance, paint flakes off the radiator. At departure the reception was empty, but no problem—I received an invoice automatically.

Die lage. Personal konnte kein Deutsch verstehen, Frühstück sehr mager, Brötchen waren nicht mehr frisch und generell der essenraum nicht sauber. Das Zimmer selbst auch nicht sauber
