It’s a 5‑minute walk to the sea, parking is right in front of the door, and there’s a breakfast voucher for a nearby bar. Despite the stated check‑in time, nobody was at the desk when I arrived; after calling, a lady appeared after about 15 minutes of waiting. The room was on the second floor and could only be reached via a narrow staircase, making it hard to bring luggage. The shower water was only lukewarm.

The room wasn’t very large. If you take a room with breakfast, you’ll also get a small balcony. The location is ideal, right in the centre and close to the sea. The bathroom was big enough and everything was fairly new. The room was small, had no view (just small windows) and the mattress was a bit sagging. There was no way to put your suitcase(s) down.

The location is unbeatable, central and convenient for parking, just steps from the beach, the city centre and the castle. The staff were very attentive and the facilities were impeccably clean. The only drawback is that there’s no breakfast; only a free coffee, but there is a kettle to make tea.

I booked two rooms, one with a terrace and one without. The terrace room was much more pleasant; the one without a terrace doesn’t show the street because the windows are high. The property is very new. For breakfast you receive a voucher for the village café, where they serve coffee and croissants. The early bus pickup woke us up, but that isn’t the hotel’s fault.
