It is almost impossible to find a more remote spot. The pure nature was amazing. We spent a week there, enjoyed the food, the hikes, or just relaxed in a hammock. We’ll definitely go back. What an experience! In principle, everything you need was available. A fan was missing, but that’s a small detail. Insect spray and rubber boots should not be forgotten in your luggage.

A fantastic family that goes all out to make your stay unforgettable. The food is amazing and largely comes from their own organic farm. The nearby trails are full of wildlife, especially a lot of beautiful frogs and birds. The view is gorgeous. And because of the special biosphere, there are no mosquitoes. Basically nothing. The only downside is that there is no hot water for showers, but that’s really not needed.

The lodge is tucked away, you’ll need a 4‑wheel drive to get there, but it’s worth the trek. The family hosts are warm, the daughter can chat in English while the parents speak Spanish. Breakfast and dinner are solid local fare, and the real highlight is the wildlife—toucans, other birds, even a tapir, and we were the only visitors. The room is clean and decent, but don’t expect luxury.

Lorena and Gustavo run the place with a deep love for the forest, sharing stories about every tree and bird you spot, and their food is the best you've ever tasted. Even Dalila’s presence adds a warm, respectful vibe that makes you feel part of the ecosystem.
