The bed was fairly comfortable and clean. However, you should read other reviews first. The photos are misleading. For Philippine standards the hotel is okay, but it really doesn’t deserve the name “Hotel” because it only offers a room to sleep and shower. There’s no food service inside the hotel. A small kitchenette with a fridge is available for general use, but there’s no real place nearby to buy groceries. The pool is fine and gives a direct view of the sea. The “beach” isn’t suitable for lying down. Overall the accommodation is acceptable if you want absolute quiet and no hotel staff, just relax. Next door is a small Japanese restaurant that isn’t part of the hotel; that was our lifesaver because otherwise the surrounding area is really dead. In short, the two nights were okay, but for Philippine standards the price isn’t worth it. The owner doesn’t speak English. Public transport options are very limited. There’s no shopping nearby. Repeatedly, both outside and inside the room, there was droppings from small animals (mice or similar), which is especially hard to explain inside. Wi‑Fi didn’t work. The public bus is hardly reliable. But the canyoneering was a lot of fun.
