The room was spacious with good soundproofing windows, a terrace with a table and chairs, a large safe, and a big luggage rack; the bed was large with good mattresses, the room was clean, and the blackout curtains were excellent, plus the breakfast was very good. The bathroom was very small with limited storage, the towel holder was hard to reach because there was little space beside the sink, and there were no hooks in the bathroom for nightwear. The room lacked a coffee/tea maker, and the feather bed and pillows were old and probably need replacing.

“Immer wieder gerne”

We’ve stayed at this hotel on several trips to the south and back, and it keeps delivering all the comforts—modern rooms, a very good restaurant, and a traditional vibe—all under one roof. Being repeat guests says a lot about how satisfied we are. The only downside was the nighttime traffic on the nearby federal road, which disturbed me for the first time.

“Gutes ,großes Hotel mit sehr guter Küche”

The parking is huge, the location is perfect for heading south, the beds are comfortable, and the food is excellent—especially the breakfast. It’s a great base for traveling into Switzerland via the main road. We booked a room on the first floor, but the cigarette smoke from the ground floor was quite strong. There was also child screaming at night, probably from guests at a wedding happening next door; otherwise everything was fine.

The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable. Everything else was just fine.
