The chalet was in disrepair, towels were smelly and rock hard, the light switch was broken, furniture and plastic plants were sub‑standard, the two‑plate stove and other appliances were old and rusty, cupboards were old, there was no plug for the basin in the bathroom, you could hear everything your neighbour did next door, and loud music and noise went on late into the night with no sign of security patrolling the area or enforcing any so‑called rules!
