“Overall, there wasn’t much we liked. Unfortunately, the service and overall experience did not feel like what we would e”
We didn’t like much about it. The hotel was a big letdown, especially given the photos and reviews that drew us in. The staff were not welcoming or friendly at all, and we never received a simple “good morning.” 😳 The hotel sits high above the sea and you must descend a steep path to reach the waterfront. There’s no actual beach directly in front of the hotel; to swim you have to walk to either side and pay to access the beach. Even more disappointing was the lack of information from reception. We asked on our first day about how to reach the beach and where to go, but were told the information was “on the paper” we had been given. That paper only listed our identification details and offered no useful beach directions. The day before we left, we happened to see the hotel’s vehicle near the roadside after coming up from the beach. Only by chance did we discover that a hotel vehicle was available to take guests back to the hotel. Overall, don’t expect a four‑star experience. In our view, the service, hospitality, and facilities did not meet the standard we would expect from a four‑star hotel.
Car ownership is essential on Samos Island; with one, everything feels close. The hotel’s view is nice, and the breakfast exceeds European standards—especially the omelette or sunny‑side‑up you can order. Rooms stay clean, with daily housekeeping. The island’s wind and the pool’s uniquely styled windows mean you get a shower and feel the breeze at the same time, which was a different experience.

The hotel is very clean and nice. The hotel shuttle is excellent, and it’s easy to reach all the nearby coves. The food variety is good, but could be a little more flavorful.
