Everything was lovely, but what really stood out was the owner’s warm attitude – he made us feel welcome and turned a good stay into a great one. The rooms were clean and the little touches he added just added that extra comfort.
“Ótimo custo-benefício”
Gerardo’s welcome was friendly and the breakfast was solid – even though I only stayed one night, it left a good impression. Everything was clean and there was nothing that bothered me at all.
The host’s hospitality was outstanding, and the place itself was spotless with a very satisfying room. On top of the prime location, we got a fantastic breakfast each morning. I’d happily suggest this spot to anyone.
“Un verdadero placer”
Gerardo runs the place with a genuine charm; his careful, attentive manner made me feel at home, which mattered a lot traveling solo. The hostel itself is an old, character‑filled house that’s spotless and surprisingly good value for the price. It sits right on the edge of Saúde and Pelourinho, only a three‑minute walk to Largo do Pelourinho yet tucked away on a quiet street, so you get both convenience and peace. The bed was comfy, the breakfast generous, and the shower worked perfectly.
“Adorei o Seu Geraldo. Me senti cuidada”
Geraldo proved to be a top‑notch host; I felt right at home from the moment I arrived. The hostel’s price is right on the money and the location is spot‑on for getting around, so I’d definitely recommend it.
