“A true hidden gem where art, design, local culture and genuine hospitality come together beautifully.”
This place is a true hidden gem. From the moment you arrive, you can see how much love, time and thought the owners have put into every single detail. What makes it even more special is that you can really feel that they run this place with genuine passion. It never feels commercial or focused on simply making money. Instead, everything seems to be about creating a memorable experience and making their guests feel welcome, comfortable and inspired. We absolutely loved the combination of modern design and beautifully restored traditional elements. The whole house has so much character and feels very thoughtfully put together. The owners also support local artists by displaying their work throughout the property, with some pieces available to buy, which makes the place feel almost like a small art house rather than just another accommodation. You basically get to enjoy an entire house. There is a very cozy room where you can listen to records, read, play games, talk or simply relax, while downstairs you can discover changing art exhibitions. The kitchen is beautiful, spacious and has everything you could possibly need. The breakfast was another highlight. Everything was delicious and prepared with fresh, seasonal ingredients from the region, which fits perfectly with the whole philosophy of the place. And don’t let the shared bathroom put you off. There are only two guest rooms in the entire house, so you only share it with the guests from one other room. It actually fits the warm and social concept of the accommodation, where guests are encouraged to connect rather than simply stay anonymously next to each other. Overall, this is one of those rare places where you can genuinely feel how much the owners care about what they have created and about the people staying there. We absolutely loved our stay
