“Η τιμή που ζητάει δεν ανταποκρίνεται σε αυτό που προσφέρει.”
The hotel sits in the center of Valletta, with all sights within a 5‑minute walk, making it ideal for those who want to be in the heart of the city. Public transport is right next to the hotel, taking you everywhere across Malta, and the staff were very courteous. From the main entrance you immediately see it’s an old medieval building that has never been renovated and has a distinct smell. The rooms smelled moldy and had high humidity, so my clothes and sheets were a bit damp. The small bathroom’s fixtures had mold, and when I was showering at the same time as a guest from the upper floor, the water splashed onto my head because the ceiling was damp. There was no hair dryer to dry my hair. The fridge was also useless for storing water. The housekeeping staff changed towels daily, but the sheets were never new! The medieval wardrobe was useless because it smelled mold as soon as you opened it. I wanted to relax and really thought about going inside, but the morning buffet ended at 9:30, and if you mistakenly went at 9:00 you found very few options to eat.
