The food was good for a weekend stay in the Jerte Valley. The lack of bathroom essentials like shampoo and body wash was disappointing.

I loved the village and the house; it keeps the heat out because other houses block the sun, so no rays get in. In the last room on the fourth floor the heat is noticeable, but that room has air conditioning, which is a blessing. The other rooms have normal fans, everything is very clean and correct. We’ll definitely return to this house next time we’re in the area. There’s complete tranquility both day and night, making it perfect for a quiet rest. Kudos to the owners.

“El pueblo con encanto pero la vivienda deja de desear.”

The village is very pleasant and the people charming. The reception at check‑in was quite cold, and we weren’t told that vehicle access would be difficult; we almost got stuck with our car in one of the streets. There was no hand soap in the bathrooms, and no small welcome kit with shampoo or body wash. Since there’s a kitchen, we expected oil or salt like in other places we’ve stayed, but there was no kitchen cloth either. The coffee maker was present, but they didn’t specify the type, so we had to bring our own coffee (or they could have left a suitable product). The house is quite warm, but at least it has two fans.

Nos encantó lo rústica que era la casa, nos hizo un poco de fresco en la noche y las estufas vinieron de lujo. La ducha era un poco incomoda, se salía siempre el agua; tener que subir o bajar escaleras para cambiar de estancia, era un poco peculiar
