The apartment was basic but met all our needs for an economy booking; it sits in a less trendy part of town yet offers a nice ocean view from the main area. The staff were terrific, and being able to use the terraces on the other side of L'auberge was a real plus. It would have been nice to have a comfortable sofa in the apartment, as there is space for it.

The central spot is amazing, with stunning views over Taghazout beach, and waking up to the sound of waves is so relaxing. The place stays quiet at night, even with the door open, and there are great lounge areas in the hostel to enjoy the view. The staff are very kind and helpful. We knew from earlier reviews that the WiFi in our bedroom wasn’t great, but that’s not a big deal; most other areas in the hostel have decent WiFi and plenty of chill spots.

The staff were super lovely and accommodating, and the space was perfect to relax and use as a base for surfing. The highlight is definitely the location! Our bathroom was a wet room, which can feel a bit damp.
