The Burlington Hotel, Torquay, is a charming hotel a mile from Princess Theatre and a 5-minute drive from the rail station. Beautifully furnished rooms offer stunning views, private bathrooms, TVs, and tea/coffee facilities. A full English breakfast is served in a spacious garden-view eating area. Free private parking and a lounge with large windows complete the hotel's amenities, near the beach.

The hotel is very affordable and in a good neighbourhood, walkable from town. Hot breakfast is included, there’s a kettle in the room, and the wifi works. The staff were very friendly; breakfast was good and served quickly after ordering. It’s an older hotel, so the price is lower.

It was cheap and had free wifi. The beds were very uncomfortable, the place was generally noisy, unclean, looked like it hadn’t been updated in years, and the wait staff at breakfast were rude. You get what you pay for.

The location and breakfast were average, and the breakfast was small. The place was run down, not clean, the mattress was a terrible old one, and the ensuite shower was poor.

The staff were excellent and incredibly helpful; it’s a budget hotel but I really enjoyed the atmosphere and my stay.
