“Hermes-Inspired Hotel with Very Poor Facility”
The parking is free and the staff are strong and courteous enough to respond to our complaints. Prior to our arrival, I sent a message to the property – both via SMS and messaging – to ask if they had a microwave and a hair dryer. I received no response from them. The rooms have no facilities: no fridge, no microwave, no shampoo, and no mirror in the toilet. The toilets are also moldy. The first night was disastrous. I booked two rooms, but neither had a water heater in the toilet. The reception said that the other room had heating and asked us to simply swap rooms since we had a toddler with us. But apparently, the other room's water heater wasn't working either. We had to boil water just for our baby to take a comfortable bath. Still on the first night, the water was suddenly cut off. I had to go downstairs again to complain about having no water in our toilet. Another staff member checked something at the back of the hotel and returned, saying that the water was now fine. I don't know what happened, but this was the start of every night – we kept having to ask them not to turn off the water. The drainage in the toilet is poor. At one point, the water overflowed and entered the room. Road noise! We didn't get enough sleep during our stay. And the bed sheets felt unclean. The Wi‑Fi was poor – it cut off from time to time and was unstable. Our second night was no better. There was a blackout in the area, and the generator wasn't turned on immediately. When the power returned, there was no water in the toilet. The reception said they had called maintenance. We waited a long time. When the water came back, I was able to take a bath, but when it was my wife's turn, the water stopped halfway. We had to use one gallon of distilled water just for her to finish. A note for the owner: I understand that you need to expand your property – it's obvious from the ongoing construction at the back of the hotel. But please, improve the facilities in the existing building first.
“Overall the place is superb super clean”
The hotel's spacious rooms and bathrooms are definite pluses, but the lack of air conditioning in the reception area is a bit of a letdown. You'll need to ask them to turn it on while you're waiting, which is a bit of a hassle. Still, the rooms themselves are a great size and the bathrooms are clean and well-maintained.
