The isolated location is good for a night’s stay and stargazing, especially with low tourism; the camp has many tents, so it can feel a bit crowded if full during high season. There was no clarity on hiring local desert hikes—our hosts suggested it, but we later learned we could have gotten cheaper fares directly at the visitors’ center, which the camp didn’t mention.

Great location, the standard rooms have two comfortable beds. The showers and toilets are separate but well made. The food is excellent and the staff are friendly and attentive. There is nothing to note.

Beautiful location, friendly staff, and accommodations across all levels—from basic to more comfortable options—so there’s something for everyone at a good price‑quality ratio. The professional support makes it easy to start a walk or jeep tour right from the Camp.
