This spot turned out to be an amazing hidden gem right in Nizwa’s center, just a stone’s throw from the souqs. Our host met us and helped us drive our 4WD through the tight streets to the accommodation. The next morning we were the only ones there, letting us soak up the garden’s calm. The only downside was how hard it was to navigate the narrow city streets—Google Maps and Mapy didn’t help. Luckily, strangers stepped in to guide us back to the guest house, showing the warmth of Omani hospitality; a couple even offered us Omani coffee before escorting us back. Thanks for the kindness, Nizwa—this experience will stay with us forever.

Very close to the castle, the area is lively, and everything is within walking distance.

Parking is convenient and the owner is courteous, but the bathroom needs attention. After the first shower, a sewage smell lingered, so we kept the window fan on all day and the bathroom door shut. Because of the garden’s proximity and the bathroom’s poor hygiene, we saw many bugs—flies, moths, even roaches. The bathroom was “cleaned,” yet a deeper clean before check‑in is required; remnants of previous guests were still on the toilets and sinks. The larger bed was hard, forcing me to sleep on the smaller one for a decent night. Minor fixes would make the property worth its price.
