The dome‑shaped accommodation gave a sense of the extraordinary. All amenities were available, so there were no inconveniences. Breakfast was also delicious. Because it is in the mountains, access requires a car, but that makes it a place where you can enjoy nature and starry skies.

It’s a bit off the beaten path, yet the quiet setting was perfect. The dark surroundings let me enjoy a flawless starry sky and fireflies at night. I even borrowed a telescope for free. The room wasn’t brand‑new, but the cleaning was meticulous and the stay was comfortable. All the amenities and towels were plenty. I opted for the breakfast option, and the homemade, simple dishes were delicious. I could relax and eat while listening to the river’s water. Next time I’d love to try a nighttime BBQ. The staff member, who was a nice older guy, was very kind and made me feel at ease. If you have a car, I’d definitely recommend this place.

A cluster of domes in central Tanegashima – totally unexpected but still cool. The host is reserved yet very polite and lovely. Breakfast was tasty. It’s very remote, so a car is handy if you stay here. The domes themselves don’t feel premium if you’re expecting that level of finish; they’re nice but more basic than I had hoped for the price.
