I spent one night here and could have stayed longer; the rooms were modern and spotless, the junior suite offered plenty of space and a stunning valley view, and the spa, sauna, and pool—open from 1 pm to 7 pm—were essential for unwinding after a mountain hike; the service was excellent and the restaurant food great, but the room stayed warm at night, so I opened the balcony door, and the shower leaked a bit.

The view was beautiful and the décor struck a perfect modern‑traditional balance between the reception, rooms, and dining area; the staff were fantastic, especially Ryan at the bar and the unnamed lady at reception.

Breakfast started at 8:00 am but by 8:20 many trays were already half empty and the selection was limited; despite the hotel’s claimed view, it felt overly remote—9 km from Thuile, not the 3.3 km advertised—and the photos were misleading, showing a much larger property than reality. The place is overrated, more a three‑star than a four‑star, far too pricey for what it offers, with an expensive restaurant menu and wine list, spa and wellness services costing €40 per person per day, and even the indoor pool being an extra charge.
