The view was great, but the room was dirty, we found a cockroach in it, and the smell was also unpleasant.

The hotel’s location is truly gorgeous, right on the beach, and we really liked the surroundings. Our room was generally nice and more than enough for one night. All in all, the hotel did what it needed to for our brief stay. On the downside, we had to pay an extra fee for using the Onsen at check‑in. My boyfriend wasn’t allowed to use the Onsen because of his tattoo, yet he was still charged the fee, which made no sense. Since he couldn’t use the Onsen, he had to shower in our room’s bathroom, which was poorly cleaned: hair lay on the floor and there were indeterminate reddish stains that could be rinsed off with water. The bathroom also smelled very strong and unpleasant, and there was no adequate ventilation, so showering there was very uncomfortable. For international guests, orientation was difficult because almost all information and signage were only in Japanese, and speaking English with staff was hard. We also felt uneasy at times because we were noticeably stared at in the common areas as foreign guests. The beautiful location was our biggest plus, but we see clear room for improvement in cleanliness and accessibility for international visitors.

They sent my forgotten item by mail. The area under the TV stand was dusty and seemed uncleaned.
