Valeria and her dad were incredibly helpful and quick to answer every message, even letting us check out late. They offered us figs from the tree and we could help ourselves. The place was spotless, the room had AC and was quiet, so we slept well—except when tractors were nearby. The breakfast, however, was just a box of industrial items in the room with a coffee machine and water boiler; there was no fridge or seating area. Valeria kindly let us use the fridge in a vacant neighboring room, but it was noisy. Because we couldn’t store food in our room, we had to leave for proper meals, and finding decent spots nearby was tough on our first try, especially navigating town. The pool was temporary and the terrace was a scaffolding with thin fake grass. On the first day a tractor was working right outside the field for hours, but Valeria managed to stop that the following days.

The pool and the room (we asked for a change because the assigned one had very dirty furniture—see the chair photos) were good. Getting to the house was impossible on a 300 m stretch of road that wasn’t passable, impractical, and dangerous. The breakfast consisted of industrial products, a bottle of expired milk, and after asking we got a kettle and tea. The AC needed repair, the fridge didn’t work, and the shower had very dirty seals and didn’t function well. Thankfully the weather was nice, but I won’t return.

Serenity was the perfect name for the house and we enjoyed our stay. Maybe add more signs downtown to find the house easier.
