I really liked the location – far from the city and civilization, right in the middle of nature. Around it is only forest, silence and calm. Clean air and birdsong make it possible to truly unwind from urban noise. The hosts are very friendly, polite and kind. There is one fairly large communal grill, but I recommend bringing your own – each cabin has benches, so you can grill comfortably right next to your cabin. There is also a volleyball net, balls, badminton and table tennis. Next to it is a fairly big lounge where you can spend time and play a few board games. If you want to get away from civilization and stay a few days in a cabin in the middle of the forest, it’s definitely worth coming. The cabin itself and its distinctive smell can bring back memories of our grandparents’ houses. Silence, forest, birdsong, grill and the chance to spend time away from city noise create a truly special atmosphere. However, it’s worth doing larger shopping beforehand – the nearest larger store we used (Intermarché in Międzychód) is about 23 km one way. Keep that in mind before you arrive. The drive can be problematic on the first visit – Google Maps may lead you down the wrong road. The hosts send text instructions, which combined with the map helped us get to the place, but it would also be good to mark the correct route directly on the map. When parking, be careful of decorative stumps that might not be visible from the car. Near the parking lot there is also a fairly large and deep depression, overgrown with grass and barely visible. In my opinion, it should at least be adequately secured or fenced so no one accidentally falls into it. The bed in the larger bedroom looks like a double, but in the middle there is a wooden element separating the two halves, which is not very comfortable for a couple. There are also no outlets near the bed. In the smaller bedroom the bed is more comfortable, but the bedroom itself is much smaller. A more thorough cleaning before guests arrive would also help. Before putting clothes on the shelves, they should be wiped first, and after our arrival, there were a few bits of trash from previous guests in the bins. There is also a noticeable old building smell in the cabin. It isn’t particularly annoying, but it’s good to know before you come.
