The staff were incredibly friendly, especially Hermann, who made everything feel personal. From the moment we arrived, everyone was helpful and warm. We left feeling genuinely cared for.

The place is a private, safe oasis right across from the ocean and lagoon, with a calm vibe and locals fishing in the mornings. Breakfast was tasty, the pool inviting, and Herman the caretaker was the kindest person I've met. The treehouse had a downstairs bathroom that was mosquito‑infested because they didn't light the tiki torches or spray the area. There's no on‑site dining, so you have to leave for meals, and a bonfire or local tours would have added a nice touch.

The site was beautiful, the pool a delight, and the canoes were a welcome addition. Mr. Hermann handled us with patience and courtesy. However, there were a few disappointments: no spa, wellness center, or bar as advertised, no accommodation for the driver, and breakfast was basic and identical on both days with barely any butter or jam.
