“Gastvrije familie bij een prachtige locatie”

Guesthouse Zgiboza is naturally on the beautiful Shala River. During the day it’s a bit busy, but once the last boat leaves it’s a lovely place to unwind. The room was new and clean. It’s great that everything is so well organized for transport to the guesthouse. The boat even waited for us when we were unexpectedly a bit late. The family was super hospitable and helpful. Unfortunately we were struck by food poisoning, but the next morning the staff gave us water and a bottle of medicine. It was a bit unpleasant that they went drilling and boring in the afternoon to dismantle the hut, but we understand that it must happen.

The location is relaxed, right on a flowing stretch of the river at the front door, and the people are very friendly.

The breakfast was decent and the spot is convenient, but the wood in room 1.13 kept us up all night with constant woodworm noises, and late‑night guests from the room next to reception were loud. During the day the receptionist kept his phone on full volume, and there was no staff around in the morning to hear our complaints, forcing us to complain online instead.

Stayed one night in Shkodër at Guesthouse Zgiboza and it was a solid hit. The place was spotless, cozy, and had every little thing you’d need. The hosts were super welcoming and always ready to help. The vibe was calm and relaxed, so we felt right at home. Honestly, it turned out better than we imagined – would definitely book again. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
