The spot in Portland is solid, and every shared bathroom comes with a toilet, basin, and shower, making it feel private. The room’s bar fridge is generous, and they’ve got a kettle, tea, and coffee ready to go. There’s also a shared kitchen for cooking.

I’ve booked here many times for Portland trips, and it’s always a comfy, old‑school pub hotel. The price is great for a room that includes a shower and toilet. The location is super quiet, yet close enough to walk to the main street, RSL, Coronation Hotel, and Zig Zag Brewery.
