The Wi‑Fi was solid and the place is in a nice spot, but the address on the map was way off – I spent almost an hour wandering until a local finally pointed me to the right spot. The room’s concrete floor felt odd and the shower and sink barely worked, so I ended up sleeping in a dark house with no other guests and a breakfast tray that was only ever set out in a quiet common room.

The location was spot‑on – close to restaurants and the volcano trail, yet still quiet enough to relax. The family ran the place like a small family, always ready to lend a hand and they made sure the bed was comfy with plenty of blankets for those chilly nights. I left feeling well taken care of and ready for the next adventure.
