Super cheap and decent for the price. The staff were super friendly and let us check in early, storing our bags 4 hours before check‑in time. The beds were a little uncomfortable and the walls were thin, but it’s hard to complain given the price.

There’s a common room with kitchen equipment, and it’s close to a bus stop. There’s no direct contact with the host, no instructions for paying the tourist tax, and little response to questions. The bed squeaks, and there’s no window at eye level—just a bit of natural light from a sky‑domed ceiling. The accommodation is relatively far from Kyoto’s center and points of interest.
