The staff were very friendly and professional. The location was inconveniently far from Essaouira.
“Riad bien placé, bon rapport qualité prix”
The price and staff were fine, but the bathroom was outdated and the rooftop was hard to reach.
“Authentic and beautiful”
An amazing riad, with great hosts and fantastic breakfast. The top floor apartment was so authentically beautiful and had a real Moroccan charm to it
I didn’t find the room up to my expectations. I had misunderstood that the Riad was car‑accessible, but it isn’t; you have to walk 10 minutes from parking lots that are open 24/7, cost 7 €/24h, and are monitored. “Porters” can carry your luggage for a tip. The Riad isn’t on the sea front; you must leave the medina and go around other houses to reach the beach, which is 1 km away. You need to go up to the rooftop to see the sea from 200 m. Breakfast was plentiful but not very high quality, and there were no pastries as advertised. If you’re a light sleeper, choose a room that doesn’t face the street. The pillows are “brise‑nuques”, truly uncomfortable – the same thing I’ve seen before in Morocco. Overall, I was disappointed.
The accommodation was great, the ladies at the Riad were lovely, breakfast was carefully prepared, the lodging was very beautiful and clean, the terrace was stunning, and the neighborhood was also very nice.
