The room was comfortable and spacious, and the location in town was good. However, the reception was mechanical and cold, parking fees were exorbitant, the pool area was small and poorly arranged for the crowd, and breakfast was à la carte instead of buffet—impractical and a bit stingy.

Location and bike were good. I booked a single king bed on Booking, but they gave me two smaller beds that are not as comfortable. Booking advertised “American breakfast included,” but I was shocked to find it was a USD 40 credit that covered one dish and a coffee—so it was not an American breakfast. Worse, I paid in advance with no refund rights. The price was all-inclusive with taxes. At checkout, the hotel charged me about USD 230 for “access to amenities,” which includes the pool, bar, etc., services I had already paid for in the rate. They claim I was entitled to use the facilities, so they charged me an additional $200—an outright scam!
