Excellent Japanese style and the dinner was the best!

The staff treated us with genuine warmth, from the proprietress to every kind female employee, and the food quality, the baths and the hot‑spring water were all excellent, as was the caring attitude toward little kids; however, some parts still look unrenovated—floors, doors and locker fittings in the toilets need fixing once the revenue improves.

Both breakfast and dinner were lavish and delicious, and the staff were courteous and helpful; despite the bad weather, the setting was superb and I’d love to return on a sunny day, though I must say the large public bath felt a little too warm for my taste.

The meals were outstanding and very tasty, but because the facilities are old the open‑air bath’s stairs are steep, making it hard for anyone with foot problems, and I wish there were a lift or similar aid.
