Air conditioning maintains a comfortable temperature, and soundproof walls keep the space quiet; the room features a single bed for one guest. A flat‑screen TV with streaming services, a minibar and a tea‑and‑coffee maker provide in‑room entertainment and refreshment options. The private bathroom includes a shower, a hairdryer and free toiletries.
“Razoável mas não voltava pelo preço qualidade”
I really appreciated the location and the hotel itself, but I was disappointed with several things at Bonnie City Hotel. For dinner, we had half‑board and expected a buffet, yet they served us a daily menu that wasn’t mentioned in the booking. Drinks at dinner were extra, even Coca‑Cola, despite half‑board. Breakfast had little variety and the food became repetitive over the days, making it dull. Cleaning was a major issue: the room was supposedly clean, but it was often the same, trash wasn’t taken out, towels weren’t changed, the bed was left unmade, and there was no real daily cleaning. For a place like this, that’s a serious flaw.
Bed comfort, breakfast options were diverse, service was excellent, price = quality. The room didnt have windows, but it was originally booked without them, as I didnt pay attention. Get used to it on a second day
Everything was perfect except the hair dryer and the TV, both of which didn’t work.
“Bien mais un peu cher pour la prestation”
The staff were super helpful, professional, and friendly. The hotel is a few minutes on foot from the city centre and the tram. My room was bright, spacious, and clean, with a water bottle and a breakfast box ready for my 7 a.m. departure (though the egg wasn’t cooked). The airport taxi was a good option if booked through the hotel. On the downside, the room was poorly insulated; you could hear neighbours talking, washing, and flushing, and the doors clanged. There was no safe, the breakfast was light, no toaster, and the coffee was weak. The common area carpet was very dirty. Rooms facing the street looked out onto a vacant lot with the neighbourhood’s bins. Towels were old and a bit rough. Before arriving I tried to change my itinerary and cancel, but the hotel refused without explanation, so be careful with cancellations. Wi‑Fi was spotty and often cut out. Breakfast ran late, from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m.
“Good location, not worth your money”
The room was clean and the bed comfy. The cleaning and serving staff were great. The location is close to markets, the city centre, and a local neighbourhood that feels cozy, especially with an antique shop next door where the women are amazing and they have cute cats. Breakfast was good. The receptionists were all very rude, unwelcoming, and unhelpful. The manager was especially awful, only friendly if you bought something from them and scammed us on the hotel‑provided trips and taxi fares. The room was only okay at best and clearly needed repairs. You could hear everyone in the rooms above, below, and next to you. Breakfast lacked variety.
