“Eine Oase der Ruhe und Entspannung.”
For those who want to feel like a castle owner, this place is perfect; the restored rooms of the castle shine as do their owners, who bring a unique charm. With great care, creativity, passion, and skill, the building gradually regains its original splendor, and the staff seem to read guests' wishes from their eyes. The original canopy beds are extremely comfortable. Breakfast is outstanding, with homemade jam, fruit, eggs in all variations, and daily fresh croissants, baguettes, and other delights that please the palate. It is an oasis of peace and relaxation, and we look forward to experiencing this magic and unique flair again soon.
“Une belle rencontre avec Marianne et Thomas, un château du XVIIIe plein d'histoire, une nuit magique”
A magnificent stop in Normandy! Marianne and Thomas warmly guided us through their 18th‑century château, the dovecote, the old stables, and many other wonders. A pair of passionate, attentive, eager guardian angels eager to share their beautiful projects. It’s a pleasure to know this heritage is in such good hands! The setting is peaceful, and the night near Mont‑Saint‑Michel is ideal. We recommend with closed eyes!
We received a very warm welcome from the history‑loving hosts, who took the time to show us their charming château and adorable dog. The rooms are immaculate, offering a true immersion into a place full of history. In the morning, a royal breakfast awaited us in front of the château—absolutely amazing! We loved this magnificent place, perfect for recharging in nature and quiet. It would be ideal for hosting weddings ;) I would return without hesitation! I highly recommend this spot for history and nature lovers in the countryside.
“On serait bien restés une nuit de plus dans ce lieu propice à la déconnexion”
The hosts’ warm welcome and enthusiasm to show us the historic place were delightful. The calm of the location, the park, the château, the unique setting, and the convivial breakfast in the park with other guests were all positive.
An absolutely charming stay in the Chapel room, with rare calm and absolute silence—a true haven of peace! We were very pleasantly received by young owners, passionate and highly motivated to restore this magnificent estate. They have beautiful ideas and projects that, once realized, will make this place truly unique. We greatly enjoyed the conversations with them and the chance to see some rooms currently under restoration and remarkable parts of the estate, especially the chapel. The breakfast deserves mention: high quality, generous, with excellent homemade and local products. A wonderful discovery, a place full of charm and history, driven by passionate owners. We have scheduled a return soon, this time with our children, to introduce them to this magnificent estate. We highly recommend this lovely address and wish the owners much success with their magnificent projects! Emilie and Guillaume
