“Terrible”
The place is in a solid spot, but the water outage over the whole weekend was a nightmare. Nobody had a backup plan, so we were stuck without a shower or a cup of coffee. It made the stay feel pretty awful.

The location was spot on, but talking to the staff was a real hassle. They seemed to have no system for answering questions, which made the whole experience a bit frustrating.

The hostel was clean, friendly, and the check‑in was a breeze even with just a few hours’ notice. The only downside was the lack of heating in August – we missed a proper heater, though the winter blankets were handy.

In La Candelaria it’s a good base to explore Bogotá, and the common area and kitchen were handy. The noise from the construction outside was constant, and the beds were a bit uncomfortable. It felt a touch impersonal, especially after the reviews promised a warmer vibe.

The spot on Umbrella Street is right in the middle of restaurants and bars, and the shower was warm and nice. The bathroom was a bit dirty, the bed creaks and feels uncomfortable, and the noise from outside is loud. Plus the roof terrace is shared and not part of the room.
