The location was perfect for where we needed to go, and the farmers’ breakfast was really good. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The property feels very dated; even though the bedding and bathroom were clean, it didn’t feel that way, there were many cobwebs on the ceiling, stains on carpets and walls, and the bed headboard was very worn. It could just use some TLC.

The staff were exceptionally helpful, polite and professional. The hotel keeps much of its original charm, and the rural setting is lovely. Parking works well. Breakfast and dinner portions are just right—not too large, not too small—and the meals taste tasty and wholesome. The bathroom fan was a bit noisy, but nothing too disruptive.

The staff were very friendly and efficient. The food offered a good selection, was well cooked and presented, and represented good value for money. The location is nice. The rooms, however, were a little tired.

Our room at the back of the inn was very quiet, which was a relief since we weren’t on the busy front side. Dinner and breakfast were both good. The bedroom furniture felt very old and tired, and the bed was somewhat basic. Coffee at both meals was wishy-washy and tasteless.
