The hostel looks great – the common areas are clean, comfy and nicely decorated, and I was hoping for the warm, friendly vibe the reviews mentioned. However, the kitchen rules felt way too strict: you have to clean and put everything away by 9:30 pm, even washing a single fork, and there’s no flexibility for a late‑night tea. It ended up feeling more like the owners’ household than a relaxed holiday spot, and I left feeling like just another number.
