There’s a kitchen with tea and coffee supplies, and if you bring cash beforehand, grocery stores by the bay let you cook like a local. I’d have liked more cash to explore the island; we arrived on Sunday and the ATM at our location was closed. Our host kindly took us to a card‑payable restaurant for dinner and then gave us a ride the next day to the Post office ATM, which was open on the Monday holiday.

The place is a single‑room rental of an old Japanese house, and the cleaning was meticulous and it looked very tidy. The only downside was that the beautiful shoji screens were worn out, probably because of the manners of previous guests.

8月の夏休みシーズンでしたが大変リーズナブルな価格で利用することが出来ました。. 車の出し入れが大変なのと敷地内にプランターや水瓶が多いせいか朝夕気温が落ち着くと蚊が沢山出て来ます。

We stayed with two adults and two children. The owner was very cheerful and helpful, making our time very pleasant. We added dinner and breakfast for two nights, and both days featured fresh fish dishes, kid‑friendly karaage, and stuffed bell peppers that everyone enjoyed. We had fireworks in the garden and joined a nearby Bon Odori, giving the kids a memorable summer experience. Insects were a bit of a nuisance, but the owner took care of them quickly when we mentioned it. The owner also works as a mountain guide, so if you’re interested, you might want to ask for a tour.

Towels and tissues were exactly where you’d expect them, showing great thoughtfulness. The meals, both dinner and breakfast, surpassed our expectations, and the overall cost was reasonable.
