“Belle découverte de Merida”
The setting is intimate and quiet, and the staff are lovely, preparing a nice breakfast for us. The little pool is great for a quick dip. It’s a bit far from the city center on foot, but taxis or Uber are available.
“Endroit magnifique à Merida”
We loved our stay at Casa Mezcla. The room and common areas are tastefully decorated. Breakfast is excellent, varied, and generous. From day one I mentioned my food intolerance, and the next day they had gone out to buy a coconut yogurt just for me – a thoughtful gesture that touched us deeply. Nothing negative.
“Stylish little gem outside of the center”
The garden/pool area is extremely curated, clean and just lovely even if you want to spend the day there. Our room was big enough and had good air conditioning and a fan, and the bathroom with that curved shower wall is just a gem. The staff are amazing, friendly and accommodating but never invading your space. Every detail is well thought of, starting from the very nice scent in the room and in the sala, plus the bed is extremely comfortable. The 2 cats chilling around are lovely and just the cherry on the cake. The property is objectively far from the center and forces you to catch an uber to go anywhere (although uber is very cheap and always available). Breakfast is very good but it’s one different thing every day (one day granola, one day eggs). For us it was perfect but if you expect a buffet breakfast you will be disappointed
We were received with extreme friendliness and helpfulness. The breakfast stood out among other places in Yucatan, being super tasty and varied. Mornings start with a warm welcome. The room is very quiet in a courtyard. Many day‑trip destinations are easily reachable. The location is listed as “excellent” on Booking, but perhaps we were there at the wrong time in Mérida; walking to the center is relatively far and there aren’t many nearby restaurants or shops. A real toilet door would be noticeably better :))
“Comfortable and stylish stay”
The room was super cute, comfortable, spotless, and very quiet. Breakfast was good, and there are adorable resident kitties that are friendly. There aren’t many coffee shops or bars within a 10‑minute walk; you need to call an Uber, but plenty are available.
