“Loved this place - great view, comfy & memorable quirky charm”
I absolutely loved this place! It’s tucked away off the beaten track in a quiet part of the island, where I could hear birdsong at night and in the morning and enjoy the view over bush and Putiki Bay. It’s close enough to walk to Palm Beach or Onetangi Beach for those with more energy, and to/from the amenities in Ostend, and easy enough to catch regular buses around the island. The unit had quirky charm and everything I needed: a great shower, a comfy bed, an outdoor table & chairs, and enough kitchen gear to make breakfast or a quick microwave dinner after a long day of tramping. Communicating with Charlie via the app was easy and responsive, and she was generous about amending my booking. I would definitely stay again! The only note is that my lower score on location was meant to help other travelers choose the right place for their break, especially if they want peace and quiet off the beaten track and are willing to walk up and down the hill from Ostend or the bus stop.
