The building looks nice, but it takes a decent walk to the city centre. When I got in, the carpet was still dirty, there were hairs on the bathroom skirting boards from previous guests, and the toilet had faecal stains. If you’re staying in the front ground‑floor bedroom, know that the window won’t open properly and you’ll need a piece of wood to prop it open. I also had to ask for a fan because none was provided during a 30+ degree heatwave, which was a real inconvenience. On top of that, the hotel supplies are tiny: the shampoo and body wash bottles only last 24–36 hours, so guests keep asking for more. I asked for a separate hand soap one day, but the next morning the cleaner had taken it away and replaced it with the same tiny bottles, which is just impractical.
